The group resulting from the union of Sinterpack and Prodec has announced the appointment of Nuria Plans as the new Group Sales Director. With more than 18 years being part of PRODEC and being his previous position Area Sales Manager Asia, she has a long experience in the sector.

The group resulting from the union of Sinterpack and Prodec has announced the appointment of Nuria Plans as the new Group Sales Director. With more than 18 years being part of PRODEC and being his previous position Area Sales Manager Asia, she has a long experience in the sector.

Nuria Plans, LIC & MBA (ESADE, Barcelona and HEC, Paris), has just been named new Sales Director of the group formed by Sinterpack and Prodec. This appointment implies recognition of her professional career at Prodec, where she currently occupies the position of Sales Area Manager Asia and Key Account Manager of Nestlé.

Plans, who will also keep this last title, has taken up her new position since the 1st January, where she will contribute to the consolidation of the new Group , as a reference in the end-of-line automation sector.

In December 2018, the President of Sinterpack and current owner of the Group, Thomas Kermorgant, acquired 100% of Prodec, a company in which Nuria Plans has developed her professional activity for over 18 years.

One of the main objectives set in this new phase is to consolidate the positioning of the Group as one of the largest manufacturers of complete automated end-of-line solutions in the world. A clear example of this strategy is the imminent launch of two new case packing solutions, a packer with multi-axis robot and a new solution through collaborative robots.

Nuria, who was decisive in the internalization of Prodec; now assumes the sales direction of the Group “with enthusiasm” and with the progress in sales both in export and in national, as well as the challenge of guiding efforts between the different departments of the organization in order to continue providing good customer service.

This promotion is “a great challenge for Nuria on a personal level, as well as an advance in her professional career” that allows her to continue the good work already done to date.
