A compact and flexible, top loading, Pick & Place cartoning solution for forming, filling and closing of cases for high speeds.

The CP-302 is a compact top loading and flexible case packer with Pick & Place cartesian system for forming, filling and closing cases or exhibitor cases. The filling of cases is performed by a pick & place mechanism with a triple gripping head with speed which is adjustable according to product type. The system is expandable, depending on the required production output.

With this case packing solution, the market needs in automating the end of line products whose irregular or unstable forms are not readily manageable at high production volumes are catered to.

CASE STORE:

Inclined storage of cardboard sheets. store length 500 mm. When the store is empty (or there are an insufficient number of trays for smooth operation), the machine is stopped and a visual signal warns the operator of the lack of trays. Optionally you can install an additional detection of the minimum number of trays that must always be present at the store so that the operator can reload before a machine stop.

POSITIONING
AND FORMING OF TRAY:

Case extraction unit located in the inclined arm using a mechanically operated cup holder arm which places the sheet horizontally. A pneumatic pusher transfers it to the forming station. During this transfer, spots of glue are injected in the folding inner flaps with high precision. Once positioned at the forming station, the case is formed thanks to a punching device stamping on the counter, forming the case and simultaneously pressing the four sides to solidify the glue.

CLOSING OF THE CASE:

During advancement of the case to the closing station, the queue points are injected inside the top flap. A server controlled mechanism which transforms folding, gluing and closing of the top flaps of the case into a simple and quick movement. In the closing station, side flaps and the upper cover are folded by an upper pusher controlled by a servomotor, which in turn, pushes the complete case towards the outside of the machine by placing it on a conveyor belt. Several closing options are available, depending on the shape and composition of the kits.
